Visited Margaritaville Casino in Biloxi the end of April 2013. Not impressed, although in speaking to some locals, they claim it's better than when it first opened. Classic Margaritaville design and decor, small casino, buffet and regular restaurant. They now offer players club cards, promotions, and giveaways, which we hear did not happen before (new GM ). Did some gambling, they have mostly slots and only a few table games. They did give us a Margaritaville plastic blender cup and $10 slot free play for being a new member which was nice. Had lunch at the buffet, still not impressed, service not great, replaced buffet items one at a time so you could never get more than one thing hot at a time. The sign offered "Baked Ham" , however we never saw any. Kind of sad since it was a Monday afternoon, and not busy. Fried catfish good, but you had to hurry up and run to get a hot portion, oh but then something else was out. The restaurant has your classic beach food and dinners but how many Cheeseburgers in Paradise can you eat? Always have been a Parrothead, but sorry Jimmy, not going back. Margaritaville is in an odd location on the back bay, adjacent to the Palace.
