“BEST gift shop EVER !!!!”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

In a place where junk stores full of tee shirts, magnets and coffee cups rule, this gift shop was THE BEST. We bought art work, sculptures, cook books and some "better" post cards, more like works of art. Beautiful building, too !! Clean rest rooms with BIG stalls !!

Be sure to see the movie - about Hurricane Katrina and the courageous people of Biloxi, The Mardi Gras displays are fun too.

“the nicest”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

Probably the nicest visitor's center I have ever been to. The structure is beautiful and located right across the street from the Biloxi Lighthouse and the beach. There are lot of pretty things to look at inside including a small sort of art gallery.

“interesting”

A charming building. Inside and out. They show a film of the history and area at set times. There were some amazing wood carvings from trees that were downed in hurricane Katharina. You could walk around and they gave you headsets so you could listen to the history. Not forgetting its for free!!!!

If you've never visited The South, this visitors center is a great place to start. Epitome of graciousness, overview of the culture, fabulous view. Don't miss it.
