“Local Spot Great Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

We had the Mahi Mahi wrap. It was some of the best fish that we have ever had. Wrapped in a huge spinach tortilla and pressed, the flavor was outstanding. We split the wrap and had all that we wanted to eat - just wish we had more room.

“Good place to have a brew and oysters”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

Located just off Beach Blvd, this is a great place for lunch, dinner, and late night food. The oysters are great, especially the Charbroiled and Rockefeller. A dozen of either of these makes a full meal for my wife and I--along with a cold beer. The charbroiled compete with the Half Sheff Oyster House in flavor, with a more laid back atmosphere at the Fillin Station. Charbroiled are a must try if you have never had this New Orleans inspired treat.
Relatively small place, with outside seating, the locals apparently stop in later at night to talk and have some good seafood. Fairly busy on a Tuesday night, not sure how packed they may be on Friday or Saturday.
The staff was friendly, offering suggestions when we were not sure of the best items to order.

“Great unique place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013 via mobile

Went here based on reviews and was not disappointed. Unique atmosphere since it was an old filling station, our waitress was friendly and attentive, the food was fresh and seasoned great! We like a little Cajun spice on our seafood and it was perfect. The fried crawfish and crawfish nachos were awesome! The waitress let us sample a couple local beers on tap( the samples were generous). If you have kids go for lunch or early evening. They said at night it becomes more of a bar atmosphere.

“Great food and atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013 via mobile

We went to this place on a hunch and were not disappointed - great food, especially the burger and homemade fries, atmosphere was also very good. Really enjoyed chatting with Elizabeth, the waitress, and another gentleman from the place ( sorry forgot his name)- very personable and they make you feel very welcome. Only disappointment was that they had run out of gumbo and red beans and rice - will have to make a point of coming back.

“Fun place to visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Plenty of good food with a little New Orleans Kick. Open air so pick your time to visit. Crawdads were excellent, pork crops outstanding and a great hamburger. Wide selection of beer.
