Lovely atmosphere. Don't recommend the chicken masala, but the seafood pasta was delicious and the asparagus with gorgonzola butter was amazing! Only $50 for several drinks, appetizer and two big entrees. Would definitely go back!

“NICE NEW ORLEANS/GULF COAST TOUCH”
Reviewed August 9, 2011

A very pleasant experience. We were staying at the Beau Revage Casino and we like oysters and saw good reviews so decided to give it a try. We called ahead but that wasn't really necessary on a Sunday morning at 11:15 am. Its a short walking distance from the Beau ( 0.4 Miles) but we took a cab because of the weather. The cabs were easy to get and $5.00 each way with tip.

On arrival we were greeted at the door. We opted to sit downstairs, The climb up looked like a little much. (Recent back Surgery.) Down stairs reminded me of old New Orleans. Nothing fancy, large windows and a quaint atmoshere.

The lunch menu seemed more than enough. We decided to order coures one a a time to make sure we didn't order to much. My cup of seafood Gumbo was outstanding. I considered ordering a bowl ! but didn't. A dozen raw oysters and a half dozen oysters rockerfella later we decided to share a fried shrimp plate with french fries side. The order was served split on two plates a very nice touch. The Shrimp were fried to prefection and the french fries had a light batter on them and were outstanding.

Even at 11:15 am people were arriving. It didn't get over busy but was steady. We may try dinner on our next visit to the MS Gulf Coast.

“Good setting”
Reviewed July 24, 2011

Nice place for dinner even if you have a fear of oysters like I do. There is alot to chose from on the menu from people like me. Casual dress code makes for a comfortable dinner setting.

Ask to sit upstairs and look out windows or the bar. The open floor plan makes it perfect for people that don't like crowded places to enjoy dinner.

The prices are very reasonable. I had a three course meal with two other friends and a bottle of house red wine with a total cost for us three at 86 dollars. Worth it

“Great Food and beautiful restaurant”
Reviewed July 19, 2011

The seafood pot pie was great. The vodoo shrimp was also awesome. Great wine list.Char broiled oysters were really different and for some one that does not like oysters I found these really tasty. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive. My son had the Uptown sandwich and had problems with bone chips and fat in the meat. The cajun red potatoes were great though,

“Great experience”
Reviewed July 12, 2011

We loved the food, atmosphere and service at this establishment. The fried oysters, royal red shrimp, crab cakes, Mangrove snapper, gumbo, charbroiled oysters and deserts were all wonderful. Service was very friendly and timely. Beer was cold. Sweet tea could have been a little sweeter. We visited twice on our trip to Biloxi.
