“Expensive but good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2012 via mobile

Went here in a Monday evening. If you are hoping for cheep eats do not come here but you get a very good meal.
Atmosphere - upscale, white linen quiet
Service - very good, mildly slow
Price - $50 per person
Food - I had the oyster soup to start which was really good but remarkably short on oysters, my entree was prime rib which I ordered medium rare and it came out medium but was still very tasty, finally the desert was key line pie which was unremarkable but still good.
More attention to the food details would have marked this up in the food category.

“Memmmmmories”

We had lived in Biloxi previously and loved coming here with my family. I remembered so many wonderful family memories. And it was topped off with great food.

“Old World Ambiance and Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2012

Great venue across from the Casino. Setting in small rooms in a house from the old world. Service was very attentive but unobtrusive service from a helpful and cheerful young gal. Food well prepared. Be prepared for a large dinner portion. Friend had lobster and two giant 8 to 10 once tails came to the table. Stuffed flounder was great. Wine list is very well put together and contains some very high end as well as quality wines that are affordable if your table games didn't go well. On the upper end of price ( 30 a 40 dollars a plate. Would definitely return.

“Please don't....this is the worst food ever”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2012

This place was recommended by some locals. We were greeted with an awesome staff and we were expecting fine dining food because of the fine dining prices. What we got was less than Apple Bees food. As a matter of fact that is an insult to Apple Bees. This was then worst food I have ever tasted. We each ordered the stuffed snapper and it came out bland in some bites and salty in other bites. There were scales on the fish and the stuffing came oozing out and tasted like a bland creamy soup. There are only three sides available: asparagus, romaine salad, and a baked potato. We couldn't finish the dinner and ordered desert. The waiter shared with us that the desert was store purchased. That was disapointing. If I pay over $36.00 for an entree and the steaks are priced at $51.00 there should be more diversity in the sides, and there should be original deserts. This was not fine dining. But the asparagus was good and our waiter was awesome. Despite of it all we left him an outstanding tip. If you try this place don't expect a Ruth Chris fine ding experience.

“Super good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2012

Been going there over 30 years and still as good as ever. A taste of New Orleans in Mississippi. If you tire of the casino food give them a try. Unique menu The Presidential platter of crab claws and baby soft shell crabs with their home made tarter sauce is a meal by itself and is wonderful. To be sure you may need an advanced palate to truly appreciate the cuisine but garlic, butter grilled or blackened fish cannot be beat. Flat out it is the dining experience to have when on the gulf coast.
