We have went here on our first night it was a nightmare! The food is overpriced and its a cheesebomb! Please believe this from well known european people with an experienced chef at our table this food is horrible! Waitress was nice though.. But they don't know what they're talking about. What a joke! French, fine dining?! Hell no!

Due to cost, we had lunch there. Prices for lunch are much better, and include a salad(fabulous homemade bleu cheese dressing) and desert. The food was out of this world. The stuffed snapper was delicious and the fried flounder was cooked to perfection, nice and flakey-PERFECT! Daniel was our server, and I would highly recommend you ask for him. Atmosphere--well, go by and check it out! Thanks we truly enjoyed it.

My husband and I had dinner there with my mother, who is a very talented cook and hard to please. She was quite happy, as were the rest of us. The red snapper special was superb. What we really enjoyed was the attention to detail at this family owned establishment. Even on a Tuesday night, the place was busy every second, and it's no wonder why.

I've eaten here several times over the last few years and it's been in steady decline. This place draws you in with it's quaint look, the courtyard with huge live oaks and even the cozy bar. The dining rooms in the main house are still nice, but they've added tables and have crowded the area. The back room was an add-on and feels like you're eating in a strip mall. The food has also declined. It's not fresh seafood and is poorly prepared, typically overcooked. On my last visit, we had a reservation and still waited 30 minutes. Also, check the bill. They typically add on gratuity, but still have a "tip" line. It's sad, but I've decided not to go again. I hoped it would get better, but it delines every time.
