“Casino Needs Some Updating”
Reviewed October 9, 2011

While in Biloxi we thought we'd see what the Isle had to offer. As we drove by we noticed a large steel structure that we thought was being worked on when we were there 2 years ago but the work must have been abandoned and left that way. Consequently, the hotel guests that had rooms on the west side of the hotel had that as their view. Ask for rooms on the east side of the hotel as the view is much better. Upon entering the casino we saw that it consisted of 2 floors. We took the escalator upstairs and signed up for our Players Cards. It's not a large casino and the machines were old and to my mind they have way too many slots that are more than $1 for the amount of space they have for gambling. The whole casino is not very glitzy or inviting. So we learned that once was enough for us.

“A wonderful value and a great stay!”
Reviewed June 23, 2011

Overall, the Isle is a wonderful, affordable hotel-casino. When we checked in, I asked for the Green room option that would get us $10 of Isleplay at checkout. Isleplay allows you to essentially play games with the casino’s money at no risk to yourself. In all, we stayed for two days and managed to earn $20 a piece in Isleplay. The casino was nice with a wide variety of both table games and slots. Both myself and my companion did very well, winning about $20 total. Not too much, but we had fun doing it! We were in a remodeled room (worth asking for). No tacky bird wall paper, very comfortable mattress and pillowtop pad, warm, soft comforter, lots of bathroom space. We had nice view of the marina . . .and the dreaded construction mentioned in other posts. Really, it wasn’t bad at all. No construction is currently going on; this looks to be left over foundations from Hurricane Katrina damage. Tradewind’s marketplace looked great with all of its fast food options though we never tried it. The Café was nice and the seafood nachos were excellent. Farradays is on site but was closed while we were there because it was during the week. Starbucks downstairs (yay!) Free self-parking. Downsides: The buffet left a lot to be desired – not many healthy options and a very weak salad bar. There’s not much for kids here beyond the pool (which is great, by the way, but does not get sun until about 11am and there are no umbrellas when it does come out). The beach is not walking distance but it very close and looks very nice. Not much town to see, but explore and you’ll find some very unique places to eat. Resort fee of $11.95 at checkout. Tips: Ask for a remodeled room. Don’t make a deposit for internet until you check for a wireless signal; I had no problem getting one. Visit Burger-Burger in town if you get tired of seafood. Look for coupons for Isleplay and other things at the visitor’s center.

“Not where I would stay again”
Reviewed November 19, 2010

The carpet in the rooms was disgusting. The room didn't seem very clean. They really need to update their rooms. The jacuzzi jetted pool was nice but they close it seasonally. I would go back for the pool.

“Hotel rooms disgusting, need to be painted and upgraded”
Reviewed June 18, 2010

The room was filthy, black scuff marks on white walls, burns everywhere from previous smokers' cigarettes! Floors slimy in shower and ring around bathtub. Looks like the housekeeping people dont do their job too well. The table and chairs must be from the thrift store! The mattresses were lumpy and forget about sleep! Look out for germs as they are everywhere.
