We decided to try the Thursday Lobster special Buffet deal. The casino has adequate parking, but not enough handicap spots. You open the door and instantly the ciggy smoke just slams your nostrils. The casino floor is dark and the carpet needs cleaning and the walls need some updating. The bathrooms are well lit, big and clean. Onto the buffet we went looking forward to our $6.00 Lobster. Line was very short which shocked us as this place is usually hopping. Well we get our tickets to the Lobster and seated at the buffet. You get your own Lobster. Well it was small, cold, and not cooked correctly. The lobster mashed potatoes again were sticky, no lobster bits, and cold. We both tried the lobster maccoroni cheese with again no lobster chunks. The steak on the buffet was cooked while you wait, but very fatty and low quality. Overall food was cold, side dishes were bland and dried out and just very disappointing. The host is a rotund big guy who seems more occupied with his cell phone then hosting. Waitressing seems well uninspired and just not caring enough. Boomtown needs a good wake up call to get back to their glory and catch up with the competition.
