“Awesome crab legs!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2011

We went on a Friday night and the crab legs were awesome. The other selections were also good. There was an ice cream bar where they made banana splits, root beer floats, and milk shakes. Well worth the money.

“Awesome crab on Sunday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2011

We went to Boomtown's Buffet on a Sunday on a tip that they had snow crab legs all day on Sundays. I have had some great crab in my life, but this was the best. Not soggy and full of salty water, just fresh, sweet, and in great abundance. Their desserts also merit comment. Yeah, they have the usual multitude of cakes and stuff, but also a small glass counter with creme brulee and other more delicate sweets. Just great!!! The rest of their food? Couldn't tell you; I loaded up on crab and desserts.

“Boomtown Casino - Usually Pretty Good, but this time just SO SO”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2011

Have been to Boomtown Casino at least 4 times in the past 3 years and usually have a great experience.

Just returned from a Tuesday - Thursday Biloxi trip and visited Boomtown a couple times.

Did the Wednesday night Steak Buffet night and have to say, was a bit disappointed this time around! Was a bit excited that they had Stone Crab Claws on this night, but that enthusiasm died out quickly with how bad of quality these crab claws were, as being overly cooked, dry and tasteless. The boiled shrimp also was not up to their normal standards, and just thought because it was not a weekend night!

Both in our party ordered the Rib Eye steaks, which were cooked to our liking, but the cut of meat was low quality, with lots of gristle parts. The meat though was tender and tasty, but not a great experience having to cut out all the bad parts of the steak.

Will have to say, the biggest surprise of the night was the Carrot Souffle - exceptional and one of the best souffles we have ever had in all the buffets we have partaken.

Did walk over from where we were staying (Imperial Palace - great place) since the High Tide Cafe was closed to see about a breakfast option at Boomtown. They do not have a breakfast buffet at Boomtown, which we found out, but the little place called "The Grille" next to the buffet had breakfast to order, and were we surprised at how cheap it was and how good. Nothing fancy, but for $4.99 got 2 Large eggs, Ham, Toast, Large Apple Juice and Grits - so much food, could not finish it.

We do enjoy gambling also at Boomtown, but disappointed in the minimum options for electronic Keno machines.

“We love Boomtown!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2011

Boomtown Casino (located in Back Bay area of Biloxi, near IP) is a wonderful casino. It has a great mix of slot machines including lots of new ones. On the second floor there is a small snack bar that offers quick meals at a low cost. Buffet is open for lunch and dinner and it is one of the best in the area. Staff of casino are friendly and all these things make Boomtown a winner for gamblers in Biloxi!
