This place is usually crowded, noisy but the food is great. Chicken is their main cuisine but the stand out food is the meat skewers. They are tender, tasty and great value. For a big grou we will usually get a variety. Beef, chicken, pork. The garlic potatoes are decadent but delicious. Fresh salads that are interesting. Best to book to be guaranteed a table because it can get very busy.

I have visited the Original Frango many times and have never been disappointed. The service from staff is always friendly and the feeling you receive makes you feel like you are at a big family get together. Louis the owner always comes and says hi and often just surprises out table with a smorgasbord of tastings and dishes, all of which are cooked to perfection. Due to the popularity of this Portuguese restaurant it can get crowded and noisy so not a quiet romantic setting but this is just a sign of how good the food is.

When ordering the burgers make sure you add the home made Chilli Mayo sauce, you'll be back to the place over and over again once you've tried it.

This tiny shop was crowded on a Friday at lunchtime. We ate our food at the tables. We were crowded out with people queueing for service and waiting for their meals. The chicken was fantastic, and really enjoyed the casual burger meal I had. I don't think I'd be going there for the more formal dining option - people at those tables seemed to be waiting for ages.
