We booked our room on the hotel website. The website described it as a "DELUXE ROOM" in the Luxury King Lodge. The room was supposed to be so nice that it "will make your head spin" like a "cabin in the woods retreat." It was also supposed to have "Luxurious furnishings" .
When we arrived, we were told that they didn't have any of the rooms that we booked. What we got was a standard room with 2 full sized beds that was just like an average Holiday Inn. We told the front desk person that we had booked the "Luxury King Lodge", she said that they didn't have any more of those rooms available. They offered nothing to accommodate us for their mistake. THEY CHARGED US THE SAME PRICE FOR THE "STANDARD ROOM 2 QUEEN BEDS" as the "Luxury King Lodge".
In business, it is best to exceed expectations, rather than set them and fall short. We expected AND PAID FOR "Luxury King Lodge", but we got "STANDARD ROOM 2 QUEEN BEDS".
The staff seemed unconcerned about their mistake and said they "can not guarantee that you get the room you booked" and paid for.
Sounds like that system really needs to be changed. You are disappointing a lot of customers.More
