The atmosphere, decor, food makes for a wonderful relaxing lunch. The wait staff is so helpful, explaining the menu for the day. The gift shop with antiques, primitives, jewelry, is a delight.

“Excellent cuisine”
Reviewed April 11, 2012

Wonderful homeade breads and rolls, excellent chicken, and an unexpected raspberry vinagerette on dandelion greens. Not what I expectedfrom lunch in Wykoff. Call for reservations.

“For Ladies Who Lunch Well”
Reviewed July 11, 2010

Before touring Jack Sprat/Ed's Museum, four friends dined at Margaret's Tea Room, which is located in with the Bank Gift Shop. It's quite pretty, with white lace tablecloths, a window, and shelves of gift items. The menu is spoken, with a choice of two soups (broth and cream), two sandwiches of the day, and two salads (greens and pasta). Two had a sandwich/soup combo; one had a soup and salad, and the fourth had two salads. The roll basket which preceded lunch was excellent, with cranberry wheat, dill, and yeast buns and butter. The chicken barley soup was tasty and the turkey and cheese sandwich delicious, as was the patty melt. A friend thought the pasta salad could have had more seasoning in the creamy dressing. The desserts were tempting; they included Swedish bars and cheesecake. The wait staff were quite friendly and chatted about Wykoff and their families (one's last name rhymes with Wykoff.)
