We have been at Italian restaurants all life. Being Italian, I know about Italian food. Also we know the owner and Chef for many years since he was in Roseville, MN.
After a while we went back. The receptionist was not professional at all, not saying that she has no sense of hospitality.
The food was good. The tomato sauce needed more cooking, a touch of wine and a touch of sugar to cut the acidity.
Since last time the appetizers prices went up, which we think for a small plate of calamari, could not be charged 16.00 dollars. The Veal Parmesano was OK.
We are patrons of many other restaurants in MN and WI and when we go there we are recognized and welcomed. At Sole Mio, even if we were recognized, we were treated with much indifference.
