We stayed at the campground in this park for a brief visit one weekend. It is a pleasant, wooded campground with most of the sites having a reasonable degree of privacy. I would avoid the campsites directly in front of the bathroom/shower building (numbers 8,10,12) as these are quite open and subject to a lot of foot traffic to and from the bathrooms. There are no electric hookups in the campground so most of the camping was tent camping, although the campsites can accommodate a small RV or travel trailer. It is a pretty area right on the Mississippi River. LaCrosse, WInona and Wabasha (home of the National Eagle Center) are nearby.
