“Great weekend away”

Great place, lovely views, room 6 was very nice and private balcony/ decking area was brill! Good food, nice friendly staff. Not too far from Boscastle, Tintagel, Bude etc! I would go back here. We were lucky to have sun all weekend too.

Great location right near the coast path. It was a nice Haven after a long walk. The staff were so wonderful and friendly. They were so accommodating to me on my second day. I had time before my bus. They let me hang out in my room even though I was checked out. That really helped. Let's face it Crackington Haven is beautiful but there is not much to do while waiting. I would love to stay there again some day.

We had wanted to stay here for years as it looked lovely. It was not. Everything was very shabby, the room was in poor condition. The breakfast was extremely poor quality with no effort made at all for vegetarians. However, the most disappointing thing for me is that i wrote a letter to express my concerns and that letter has not even been acknowledged. They obviously don't care at all.

Great location overlooking the sea. We had the family room at the side but still had a lovely view of the waves on the rocks. Decent enough room and a good pub downstairs run by a decent bunch. Problem was that there was a live band playing right below the room until midnight so the room was unusable. But they apologised, stopped the band a bit early and gave us a refund so no harm done.

Friendly staff in a pub in one of the best locations. Lovely bay view and outside balcony if the weather is good.

Downfall was the price. Food seemed extortionately expensive for what it was. I had 'Mr Bartons Fish and Chips' it was a bit tasteless.

Drink was okay, but still at the high end for price. It's the only pub in the village so I guess with the location, they can get away with being more expensive than others.

If you want a pub with a view then this must be your destination - almost on the beach with a fantastic view of the bay of Crackington Haven - may not always be the best beer or the best food but in it's own right a pretty good attempt. Large room for children with a pool table, however children are welcome in the main pub too and dogs.

Had a lovely lunch there on Monday and in a stunning spot. Perfect for wandering in from the beach.

We had to wait at least an hour for the food here, it was a Saturday evening and there was another event going on though. We made the most of the wait by going for a walk overlooking the sea and watched the sunset.

When we got our food it was dried up and not very tasty. It was £80 for 4 people. The drinks were very expensive we were charge £3.90 for a coke (pint) we spent about £25 on drinks and only one member of the party was drinking alcohol and not that much.

I would go back as they have live music on Fridays and the setting is wonderful but we did not have a great experience of the food.
