“Perfect cosy retreat :-)”

What a truly perfect cottage; a really lovely little place. Very quaint and just what I was after. All facilities in the cottage were perfect, the kitchen, the fire etc etc.
I loved the bathroom too as the bath was just under the window so you could look out the window to the lovely views when taking a relaxing soak!
I loved the bookcase with all the games and books too, very homely.
Everything was clean and tidy.
The bedroom décor was perfect too, v. cottage-like and cute.

The village post shop which is immediately next door is v. handy, selling fresh fruit, veg, bread etc and pretty much anything else!
The most local pub is down the hill (go left when you leave the cottage) and there's a lovely place that does prawn / crab sandwiches, v. yummy! The walk takes about 20 mins, bear in mind coming back it will take longer time though as it's all up hill, and v. steep to be honest! Worth it though for sure :-)

Nearby Boscastle is def. worth a visit (Farm Shop is great and food is sooooo good. Advisable to book a table though, espc. weekends). Fish platter is a must!
Tintagel also worth a visit, and def. Port Isaac (lots of cobbled streets and local shops and pubs).

Myself and my partner came here in March 2015.

Absolutely cannot wait to come back. This was my first visit to Cornwall and it is still somewhere I keep thinking about. The cottage was honestly perfect and truly made my stay complete :-)

“Very cosy and traditional”
Reviewed November 5, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Thank you, very nice stay, everything on hand especially with a dishwasher! Beautiful fireplace but very warm & cosy with underfloor heating.
Great location for exploring all the popular places ie Boscastle, Tintagel. Crackington Haven has a lovely cove ideal for walks with children and pets. Very handy shop and post office next door.
Thank you

“Splendid”
Reviewed September 1, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Like a sort of homecoming - just arrived we've found comfortable ambience. The interior is complete and practicable. The garden give the privacy we liked, the shop of Mike and Justine in direct neighborhood made the stay pleasant. The surrounding with the beach of C.H., the cliffpaths and the nearby sights invites to enjoy the holidays.

“Beautiful cottage”
Reviewed July 27, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Just come back from a weeks stay at this beautiful cottage. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Every thing we needed was there and the kids loved the board games and Lego! My husbands certainly misses sitting at the top of the garden with a cup of tea! Hope to visit again

“Lovely cottage in beautiful location”
Reviewed October 12, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

I had a wonderful time in Crackington Haven with my toddler. The cottage was warm and cosy with all the kit required to cater for a small person. We spent many hours in the lovely play park across the road from the cottage and on the stunning beach rock pooling. Tim the owner was very helpful in suggesting places to visit and I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay if you have young children. There is also a cottage garden with a sea view at the end. Another highlight was the very fresh fish and chips served up from a van which stopped opposite the cottage during our stay.
