I can't say enough to warn people about the Patch. The management / staff is the rudest, most inconsiderate, nonfriendly and arrogant hotel / motel staff I have ever experienced in my lifetime. I have never been treated with such discontent. A simple inquiry regarding changing accomodations brought an onslought of rude comments and unfriendly suggestions. Rather than stating....I'm sorry that there was a misunderstanding about the room and location that you have been assigned, we will do everything within our power to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We were confronted with - comments like; there's nothing that we can do.....you made the mistake when you made your reservation.....we'll change your room only if someone cancels, but you're going to pay for it.....stop complaining or I'll kick you out. When I asked to speak to management (because of the rudeness and horrific customer service), I was told that I was speaking to the owner! Wow. Usually you'd think that management / owners would have a better business sense and sense of customer value and service. At the Patch, the problems of poor customer service seems to stem from managers / owners. Do yourself a favor and find a different place to stay.....or, take a gamble on the Patch. If you choose The Patch, your best case scenario you get the "privaledge" to stay at a lower end facility with no understanding of customer value. Good luck.
