Overlooking beautiful Leech Lake, a wonderful deck with great tapas (appetizers) and drinks during happy hour...the best spot and value to enjoy a hot summer's day...be sure to make it for happy hour, though.

The view from the 502 is just as nice in Winter as in Summer. The restaurant can't be more than 50 feet off the water/ice. The had a special New Years Eve menu and the steaks were very good. Their signature Walleye dinner is outstanding.

Being that this is at the Chase on the Lake I expected fine dining. The menu choices were just ok. Lots of fried foods. The food was just fine, not wonderful. The items were over priced for the quality and choice. The service was poor. The waitstaff was uneducated and unprofessional.

The decor in the dining area needs a serious makeover. The bar area is vey nice looking.

Breakfast was terrible. It was a buffet that was maybe suitable for a Super 8. I believe a hotel of this class should have a menu to order from and not a cheesy buffet. We had to get up and find someone to help us with drinks. Sad. Will not return.

Go a few miles down the road to the Boulders to enjoy a wonderful meal with awesome service and an extensive martini and wine list.

This restaurant is situated in the main hotel in town and looks out over Leech Lake with a teriffic view. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. Lastly the size of the portions is quite large. The piece of pickeral (Walleye to US citizens) was beyond big.

We took our 80-something year old parents to this restaurant for dinner. It was surprisingly difficult to find a restaurant with a water view in this Northwoods area of Minnesota. It was handicap accessible so we decided to give it a try. The food was good; fine. Nothing extraordinarily interesting but we had prime rib and it was good. Service was attentive and kind. We would go back for the view.
