A nice B&B in a lovely lakeside location. Well located for exploring the area around Walker (Walker itself is a 15 minutes drive away). Free use of bikes is available (property right on the rails to trails bike route), as are free use of canoe's on the lake.

Just got back from two nights at this beautiful B&B. Stayed in the Bayview Suite. With 40 something B&B's under our belt we have never had a better view when laying in bed and looking over the lake first thing in the morning. Both Sandy and Gary and welcoming and can't do enough for you. The breakfasts are first class and way more than I could eat.

The B&B is just off the Heartland Trail but is very easy and safe to get to.
Everthing was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. At night there is not a sound and very dark which is great for sleeping.

You can't go wrong by booking here.

Room Tip: Get the BayView room looking over the lake. It is large with a huge bathroom and 180 degree views ov...

My husband has been taking me to a B and B for my fall birthday every year for about 28 years and I never know where I'm going till we go. This year we went to Leech Lake B & B. Gary and Sandy's home was so very inviting as were they. Very comfortable and the view was spectacular. We were in the Harbor Suite. Saw the sunrise every morning and the deer come in every night. Gary and Sandy were so very cordial. Breakfasts were outstanding! I would come back here in a heartbeat. Tom and Juline

We have stayed at the Leech Lake B&B twice. Our first trip was in August 2012 and we enjoyed it so much that we went back this August 2013. Gary and Sandra are very warm, welcoming hosts. The B&B is spotless and the food is fabulous! We stayed in the Harbor View Suite. As you would guess from the name, we had a great view of the lake with the morning sunrise and the moon shining on the water at night. We biked the Heartland Trail, shopped in Walker, enjoyed the kayaks and went boating on Leech Lake. We highly recommend this B&B.

We stayed 4 days at this beautiful B&B which is located on a quiet bay. Our hosts, Gary and Sandra, were generous and kind. We biked on the Paul Bunyan and the Heartland trails which are close to the B&B. The Heartland trail, just south of Walker, is especially beautiful and not near a road. One morning we used the kayaks at the B&B and enjoyed the water. One day we drove to Itaska State Park and walked in the Mississippi River headwaters. The B&B is in a great location for biking, boating and exploring the area. The shared areas: dining room, living room, porches and lawns are very comfortable and welcoming. Our room had a wonderful view and was also comfortable. We highly recommend this B&B.

Room Tip: If you are an early riser you'll enjoy a room that allows you to watch the sun rise. The east fa...

We stayed in the Backwoods room with a full bath and Jacuzzi tub for 3 nights. Gary and Sandy are very gracious hosts, always trying to be accommodating. The food was hardy and delicious. We especially loved the quiche. The location of the B&B is quiet yet accessible to everything - hiking trails, bike paths, the lake of course, and not far from Walker with fantastic restaurants and shops.

This was my first ever experience at a B&B, and all I can say is wow. A friend and I stayed in the room, from 8/5-8/9/12. We were greeted upon arrival by hosts Gary and Sandra, who immediately put us at ease in their home. The first morning we woke up to the scent of freshly brewing coffee, a gorgeous view of the lake, and ducks resting on the shore. Later that day, we utilized "Captain" Gary, and his wonderful sail boat for a 3 hr sailing excursion on Leech Lake. The B&B was impeccably clean and maintained. The food was wonderful. And Gary and Sandra made the entire experience perfect for us. We would highly recommend this B&B to our best friends, and to anyone looking for a perfect, relaxing, getaway.
