Loved it. You will never be closer to these amazing birds. Great free photo opportunity with a bald eagle and the entire family after the educational lessons at 11, 1 and 3. The facilities, downtown and drive there were absolutely beautiful. You can also walk along the Mississippi. There are lots of great places to take pictures. It was also inexpensive! The admission for three adults and four children was $44! You can't attend a movie for that price.

“Must Hear Lecture”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

We have been here four times and have seen the National Eagle Center grow from literally a store front operation to the 1st class facility they have how. Plan you visit to include the 45-minute lecture usually given at 11:00 am, 1:pm and 3:pm. You will have a new appreciation for eagles and other birds of prey. The displays are very informative and interactive. There is usually a short film. too. You are very likely going to buy a souvenir or two at the gift shop. This is a great stop for adults and children alike!

“Jennifer makes Eagle poop interesting!”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

Come on. If you are planning a trip to Wabasha, you must be going here, right!? If not you are missing the best part of the City and even the County. The classroom was the highlight of the Eagle Center. Jennifer knows her stuff! She is enthusiastic and really enjoys her work. It is alway fun to see someone that can make others interested in their passion. She is really good. (Hey Eagle Center, she loves working there and will probably never quit, but give her a raise anyway!). She involves the audience and can roll with the situation. Even Eagle poop is made to be interesting!

The staff were all so knowledgeable and it was a fun experience. We took our grandchildren and they loved it and had a great time. The eagle presentation is a must and very educational.
