This center is really nice. We really enjoyed the exhibits and the presentation. Seeing the eagles up close was incredible.

The eagles themselves get a five star, hands down. It's fascinating to watch them and ask volunteers questions about them.

However, the rest of the center is pretty bland. There's not that much information, and the little there is isn't especially novel or interesting.

I also found it ironic that several songbirds were dead outside after having flown into the big glass windows of the eagle center... though I suppose this can't be helped.

So, if you're interested in seeing the eagles, do go. But don't expect to spend much more than 1-2 hours here, and don't expect to find tons of educational materials.

We visited the National Eagle Center during our touring of the River Road Tour. The center is situated on the river and has wonderful views of the river and opposite banks. It was fun to watch all the birds on the river and nice the see birds that are rare where I live up north. The center has great interactive educational stations and live eagles in residence. Great for all ages.

I enjoyed the presentation. I learned a great deal about eagles. They are truly amazing. Great photo opportunities inside as the eagles are very accessible.
