Turning Waters is the answer for busy couples looking to get away for relaxation and rejuvination. The modern-day rustic mansion is something out of an HGTV episode! The enormous bathrooms are perfect for the the woman who overpacks for everything, and the deep leather couches will suit any guy looking for a perfect napping spot. You won’t find hospitalility like this anywhere else!!

Room Tip: The Great Lakes room is my favorite! Enjoy watching the sun through the shutters in the morning as...

Turning Waters Bed, Breakfast, and Adventure is absolutely wonderful! It is not your typical B & B. My husband and I have been to many bed and breakfasts over the years and this one is by far the best. The house is beautiful and Richie has done an outstanding job furnishing and decorating it. His attention to detail is amazing. It is so comfortable here--it is quite rare for my husband and I to actually want to sit and relax but it is such an inviting atmosphere that we spent a good portion of the afternoon hanging out in the common area. Both Richie and Michael were amazing hosts, giving us plenty of ideas of things to do around he area. We wanted to go our their kayaking adventure but it was raining so we will do it next time! Our room, the Coniferous room, was beautiful, comfortable, and inviting. And, last but certainly not least--the food was amazing!! Richie and Michael not only make terrific tasting food, but the presention was beautiful and they cared about our dietary restrictions and took that into special consideration, providing us gluten free, dairy free breakfasts that were out of this world. Thanks to you both for your hospitality--we will definitely be back and we will tell all our friends about Turning Waters Bed Breakfast and Adventure!

My wife and I spent two nights at Turning Waters bed and breakfast April 4-6, 2012 and had a wonderful experience. Our hosts were very accommodating and gave excellent recommendations for places to visit, to eat, and experience in the Wabasha area. The room was romantic and relaxing and the breakfasts were delicious. In the kayaking tour with Richie, I saw some unique areas of the Mississippi and learned how to properly paddle and balance a 17 foot kayak. What a joy. Would absolutely recommend Turning Waters.

We experienced luxury accomodations at a reasonable price over the March 4, 2012 weekend. Rooms were excellent and the owner was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were excellent with very creative gourmet dishes. Would recommend Turning Waters.

My husband and I spent the weekend at Turning Waters Bed and Breakfast in February when we travelled to Wabasha, Minnesota, to check out the Grumpy Old Men Festival. We were not disappointed by any aspect of our trip. We had an awesome experience and will visit Turning Waters again. Our wonderful hosts, Richie and Mike, cooked us some of the best breakfasts we've ever had -- yummy egg dishes brimming with vegetables, an impressive array of fruit, homemade preserves, biscuits, breads, etc. They also were well-versed on the area, and they offer guided adventures for such activities as kayaking and fishing. The bed and breakfast is really comfortable, with a lot of nice touches to the decor and thoughtful amenities in each room. It also has an inviting living room where we enjoyed great conversation with Richie, Mike and other guests at the inn. Guests Nigel and Martin were visiting from England. Wabasha was their first stop on a trip to celebrate Martin's 40th birthday -- Happy Birthday Martin! Walleye Dan from Brainerd, Minnesota, joined the party as their guide for the Grumpy Old Men ice fishing tournament. It was a fun, fun, fun time at Turning Waters. It would be a great place to visit if you would like to explore the area, but it also is so nice, you might just want to hang out at the inn for a weekend. We highly recommend a visit to Turning Waters.
