Everything was great at this hotel, close to our excursions to National Eagle Center, Lark toys, Laura Ingalls cabin and antiquing in Lake City. Beautiful views. Breakfast was better than most AmericInns because it also offered waffles with strawberries and whipped topping, a nice treat! The pool had 4 playground balls and a basketball hoop, our kids spent a total of 2 hours in the pool one day, it was the highlight of their trip, the pool water was a little cool, but only the adults minded that. Large rooms with fridge and microwave were nice.

Great place to stay. Great pool area and hot tub, but a little on the pricey side for an AmericInn. I could see paying $100 a night, but not $143.00. The breakfast was descent and the rooms were good.

Very beautiful lobby and fireplace area. Breakfast is good and hot. Close to area attractions. Must visit the National Eagle Center in Wabasha when you stay here. Wabasha is a lovely river town. Will return and stay at the Americinn.

Stayed here for the first time as a get-away with some friends. Due to playing tourist and arriving late, we checked in late evening. Had called ahead and learned that the pool was open until midnight for adults. It was great to have that option to take a beverage in a plastic container to the pool and lounge in the hottub after an eventful day. Rooms were clean, quiet, spacious enough for four adults and all of their luggage. Shower and toilet separate from sink area which is great for getting ready. Beds and pillows comfy. Did not pay attention that no elevator in this two floor hotel, which was fine for us except for all of the 'stuff' we'd lugged along. Lovely commons area and balcony. Pool was great area. Breakfast area was nice with lots to offer. Hot breakfast options, breads and pastry, fruit, yogurt, milk, coffees and juices. If opportunity arises for another stay in Wabasha, we'll definitely stay here.

This hotel was very nice and the location was very good for the things we wanted to do over the weekend. The staff were familiar with the "touristy" questions we had. The price seemed a little spendy compared to many places we stay but it was certainly worth it.
