Walked in to have breakfast. Both waitresses looked at us then preceded to ignore us and walk around the restaurant. There were 5 tables needing to be cleared so we sat at one of them. It took 1 waitress 7 minutes to come over and clear the table then she took our order for coffee. We waited another 10 minutes and watched newer customers get helped. So... Fed up... We left. Never to return.

The omelette: ham and cheese. Made the way I would. $7.50
The coffee: a 5
The salad: ice burg lettuce. Loved the home made blue cheese dressing!

Just a small town cafe. Not gourmet. We had breakfast there both days we were staying in town.

The breakfast was so good we went there two days in a row. Get the hash browns with your breakfast, they go great with the mile high omelet.

Stopped here for lunch on our way up the North Shore and enjoyed it so much we stopped again for breakfast on the way back. Nothing fancy but if you are looking for good food at a reasonable price this is the place to go. My wife is vegan and they were more than happy to dress up some hash browns with a bunch of veggies. Waitress thought it looked so good that she was going to try it. Don't forget to try the pie as it was very good also.

They close at 8pm and we walked in at 7:50 pm.. They were more than happy to seat us and allow us to order. We felt bad but they were very nice. The food was GREAT and a big surprise that the food was so good. I had breakfast for dinner and it was fantastic and QUICK. My kids had hamburgers...Grilled Cheese ..... Chicken strips... very common kids food but much better than the norm.... We ordered two slices of Strawberry Rhubarb pie and it was MUCH better than Betty's Pies which is well known in these parts... The Wisconsin cheese soup was amazing as well. I just moved to this area and will visit OFTEN.. You have to stop at this place. Anyone who did not like the food ...Can't believe it..
