kids of all ages can hike on the trails or in the river. My kids built a canal of water with rocks while we were there the last time.

Great stop on the way to Lutzen or Thunder Bay.

A very nice park to stroll through and it wasn't very big. The falls were pretty and there was a place for kids to wade.

This is one of our favorite stops on the North Shore of Lake Superior. An easy walk to the upper and lower falls from the parking lot. Visiting these are free. Longer hikes back into the woods or the bluffs over looking the lake are also available. The close falls are wheelchair accessible.

It is probably the easiest falls to see on the MN north shore drive, lots of trails, at the falls themselves there are many steps(can be very icy), beautiful, bring your camera, see after a good rain for more water flow
