We have been to this Lighthouse many times. The first time I was a small child. This time we brought some of our grandkids. It's interesting and fun. Beautiful scenery it is safe but be careful and don't lean too far over the fence barrier. My grandkids always need to be watched. We loved the view from the top of the lighthouse. They give you a lot of explanation as to how it was built before the Hwy. 61 was constructed. The park is very clean. It cost us $34.00 for two seniors and three kids.

Well kept. You must pay to see the lighthouse you can’t even get a glimpse of it. Nice gift shop. You can refill your water bottles

We had always wished to visit this place! Yesterday we were able to make it happen! The lighthouse is amazing! Don't miss the short program in the Visitor Center before taking the tour. It gives a very informative background on the history. You may take a guided tour or go to the lighthouse on your own. If you are able, you may climb the stairs to the top. The keeper's home is open to view as well..it is well-maintained and lovely. Don't miss this gem!

We arrived early in the morning to photograph the lighthouse, and had the park to ourselves. We hiked the trails, and enjoyed having Mother Nature to ourselves that day.
