“Learn a little history here”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

We stopped here on a trip on our bike around Lake Superior. The knowledge of the staff, and the quality of the restored buildings is amazing. The visitor's center is nicely done, with a good variety of souvenirs for you to browse and buy.

“Very Pretty”

This is a place all must see who travel the north shore. Very historic, beautiful and interesting. Gift shop a bit pricy though.

“Pricy”

Didn't know you had to pay to visit the lighthouse and walk around the grounds. The actors and crew house were entertaining :)

“Nice and clean”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2012

Wow, these state parks are so clean and neat, so different from Michigan. I didn't see any garbage anywhere which was something considering the park was full. Nice hiking trails, the roads were a little bumpy but that was the only down side I saw. Thank you Minnesota for such a great deal!

“Picturesque lighthouse”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2012

This is one of the most picturesque lighthouses you will ever see. The walk down to the shoreline is lined with birch trees. The best views of the lighthouse are from the shoreline.
