Went here as my wife had a great experience there over 10 years ago and she was excited to share it with me. Was there on a MOnday evening when the place was very slow. We were seated right away with a short wait for the server. Menu looked impressive. We both ordered with my wife ordering the scallops, and I ordered the fish cakes. The bread was brought out after about 5 min. and was very good. Unfortunately from there on it was mostly down hill. We had to wait over 20 min. (stopped keeping track after 20 min...
My wife's meal was very good with the rissotto being done perfectly. My meal was another situtaion. The fish cakes were tough and fairly tasteless.
When I filled out the survey card and handed it in I was told that 20 min. is a normal prep time for most of their entrees. When I made the comment that we eat at a lot of places that make their menu from scratch with a lot less wait the response was to the nature that was not how they operate. Haven't seen that type of attitude from managment in a very long time. Esp. in this economy.
Nice view of the lake!
