“Excellent wine, service and atmosphere”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

The tasting room is small but there is plenty of space outside. They bring your wine tastings out to you, quite promptly. It was 5 dollars which included 5 wine samplings, the glass, cheese and crackers. I found it very reasonably priced (even cheaper than most other wineries for what you get). We both really liked the wines, decided to purchase a glass and check out the grape vines. The owner was very nice, brought us some grapes to taste, very friendly. It was a very casual atmosphere, not pretentious, which is what I enjoyed the most. They have only been open 2 years and have accomplished great things, it will be exciting to see them grow.

“Awesome Wine but nothing to do there”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

The wine was very tasty and the staff was very welcoming. They had just picked fresh grapes from the vines and those were absolutely delicious. However, I was dissapointed that there was not anywhere to walk around. You just sit at your table and sample the wine with the food samples they have choosen for you.

“Perfect for ladies' day or date night!”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

What a great little place to bring a date or a group of girlfriends for the afternoon. As others have already mentioned, the wine tasting is an incredible value at $5. Ours included the keepsake glasses, crackers and cheese but they also shared some just-picked grapes straight from the vineyard.

Our party included some who rarely drink any wine at all, one who enjoys wine but only sweeter varieties, and one who likes a variety of dry and sweet wines as long as they're smooth and not bitter. All of us loved the LaCresent in particular, and a few other samples also got the thumbs up. Reviews were understandably mixed on the remaining. The woman serving our samples was friendly and had a good sense of humor as we joked around, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Couldn't leave without picking out a few bottles to take home!

“Cute little winery”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

We found this winery kind of by accident as we were driving to the Chateaux St.Croix winery. This winery has a scenic drive in through a wooded area. The tasting room is tiny so they had us sit outside and brought the wine to us to sample. They also gave us some Gouda cheese and crackers.
The wine tasting is $5.00/7 wines but as a couple you can choose to taste all the wines by having each person taste a different wine. (which we did) We weren't impressed with any of them except the port.

I think this winery has the potential to become a more fun one to visit. The grounds are not kept up very well where we sat. Some music on the little wooden platform would really add a lot.
We did venture into the vineyard which was one of the most well maintained one we have seen.

“Charming and friendly. Loved it.”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

Wild Mountain Winery is a little out of the way but absolutely worth the trip. We had a wine tasting which included five different wines plus small bites to enhance the flavors of the tasting. Servers were absolutely charming and informative. Very pleasant way to spend an afternoon and highly recommended.
