I booked this B&B for a group of 7 women. We wanted to be within walking distance of downtown Stillwater, we wanted a B&B and we were hoping not to share common bathrooms with other guests. Well, with 3 bedrooms, each with their own private bath, this was absolutely perfect for us. We had the B&B to ourselves! It is located on a nice quiet beautiful tree lined street, with virtually no traffic. Ron, the innkeeper was extremely accommodating. He served us a breakfast that kept us very happy and full until dinner. He even brought a mountain dew on a lovely tray for our one non-coffee drinker. He shared stories when we asked but gave us all the privacy we desired. When we left in the morning for our daily excursions, Ron made sure the fridge was stocked with water and other little details that I have not experienced before in B&B's. This is located on the "other side" of the famous 157 stairs, which thoroughly enjoyed hiking up and down (it helped work off the huge breakfast)! Highly recommended.

Room Tip: I believe that some rooms had overhead showers, and others only bathtubs - but double check on that.

This was an ideal place for our wedding anniversary. It has the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood, yet close enough to the many attractions that Stillwater, MN offers. Across the street there is a pathway that takes you to the fine restaurants, art galleries, countless antiques and specialty shops. Upon our arrival we were received with a complimentary bottle of wine from a local winery. Our bedroom, the St. Croix Room, is spacious and offers a relaxing atmosphere, with a reading area and a double whirlpool. There is free wireless internet access. Around 8:00 AM we had a tray with coffee and pastry by our door. At 9:00 AM we had a delicious four-course breakfast in the dinning room with plenty juice and coffee. Our host, Ron, really made us feel welcome and was ready to answer any questions or give us suggestions of the many different things you can do in Stillwater and the beautiful St. Croix River Valley. We were so lucky to have chosen this place!

Room Tip: The St. Croix Room has an excellent view.
