We have gone to Whitey's a few times just for the interesting menu options. We like going here for apps because it's not your traditional fried food, they actually have tasty healthy options. i don't think you'd be disappointed here if your looking for a tasty treat.

OMG! The corned beef hash with a Bloody Mary....to die for. We've only been for breakfast but since discovering this local gem we've returned many times. Love it!

Saturday and Sunday breakfast/brunch came highly recommended. Six of us were underwhelmed. Don't order the housemade corned beef hash unless you like tomato-based, potato-laden beef stew with hardly any meat... And the bloody marys were basically vodka and tomato juice. Come on, really? Aside from that - I've had good lunches here with good NE Minneapolis-like pub fare and a nice selection of craft beers. The atmosphere is nice - filled with bar memorabilia and signage. The pot roast sandwich at lunch was the bomb. So, work on your corned beef hash and bloody mary mix - and we're all good.

This place is all right. Nothing special in the decor, the seats are uncomfy, and the place is a little dark. But I have always had excellent service here. The food is average bar food and the drinks are average as well. I usually only went here if the other places were too packed.

We enjoyed the beef tataki for an appetizer & it was delicious! Chicken kabobs & sausage penne were tasty! Nice draft beer selection. We will be back to try more of the menu.
