“A fun place for lunch.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2009

This place was bursting at the seams. We didn't wait too long, and the service staff was very prompt and friendly. It's very tiny, but is always busy. We enjoyed some burgers, fires, onion rings and malts. All reasonably priced and all very tasty. Their cole-slaw was fantastic, as were the onion rings. I'd stop in again if I was in the area.

“A tasty step back in time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2009

Each time we visit Stillwater we stop at the Malt Shop for lunch on the way back home. We usually also grab an ice cream cone at the walk-up window. The food is delicious, the malts are frosty, the atmosphere is cute with all the vintage signs. It is always crowded and sometimes it is hard to get a table right away but you do not have to wait long and you have to sit elbow to elbow with the table next to you but it is a great casual family place.

“Best. Burger. Ever.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2009

We routinely drive an hour out of our way just to hit Leo's for lunch. I always get the "Big Daddy" with side of onion rings and a chocolate malt, which is served the right way - with the big glass with whip cream and a cherry, and the METAL CUP with the little "extra"(!) and it's always awesome. The place is constantly packed and there isn't a lot of room to start with, but it's worth the hassel. Great food and the service was great too. We've seen the owner (leo?) there every time we've been there, which is a good sign to me.

“Delicious Burgers and Malts”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2009

Stopped by and ate indoors in this quaint kind of soda fountain atmosphere. The burgers were delicious. The malts were great too. I think they use Bridgemans ice cream. The server was effiecient and friendly. The accoustics indoors were noisy. A small child shrieked the whole time during lunch. The parents obviously need to teach the child that you only scream at that decible if you are being injured or abducted. It is a family place and noise level can get high. It's a fun atmosphere with a really nice menu the prices are touristy, not expensive, but not cheap either. I liked it and would definitely go back.
