Walking past this restaurant, you may be forgiven in thinking that it is very small, as the main building only houses a few dining tables. However, there is a huge courtyard out back, as well as another outdoor room in which you can eat. The waiters, all very French (love love love their accents),were very friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed our meals; my friends tried the bacon and eggs (best bacon they had ever had apparently), while I tried the Tiger Prawns. Delicious! The only gripe I had was that the prawns should have been peeled; it was a little hard to do so in the small bowl they came in. The desserts include delicious pastries ... but be warned ... if you do go to the restaurant for lunch, make sure you order your dessert first and ask for them to be put aside. When it was our time for desserts, there were not many remaining, as patrons also come in off the street into their deli next door to buy pastries. Such a shame as I wanted to try all the mouth-watering, delicious pastries on their menu!!! I will definitely be going back to experience a little bit of France in bayside Bonbeach.
