“Simple fare, stunning views”
Reviewed February 21, 2014 via mobile

There's not much in the way of quality fare in the St Helen's area, unless you go very upmarket. Couldn't find much more than stodge and fat for brekky (not the gourmet breakfast we were originally fantasising about), so ended up driving to Binalong Bay and having lunch instead. Absolutely the right choice!

This place has amazing views and we were lucky enough to get a table on the balcony. The day was brisk and clear, so we were happy we had brought a jacket.

We had vege soup first, then a hotpot of trevalla and chorizo. Very Mediterranean and yummy both of them. Accompanied by sort of fried ciabbata, so I was compelled to break the diet I've been on for what seems a lifetime.

Short simple wine list and being after 12 by then, a glass of lovely local pinot was unavoidable.

As with lots of the cafes around this area, all the cakes were home baked and I settled for the obligatory moist scones and jam and cream.

“Beautiful Wedding!”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

Binalong Bay Cafe put on the most beautiful - and delicious - wedding reception I have ever attended. The food was expertly prepared and served. The table arrangements and settings were lovely. Best of all, the deck overview of the ocean waves was out of this world! Kuddos to the owner, chefs, and staff for creating the most lovely memory for the bride and groom, and all who attended. My words cannot begin to describe the memory of this special event at Binalong Bay Cafe!

“Views & great food AAA+”
Reviewed February 18, 2014 via mobile

After being refused breakfast at St Helens @ 11.00am on Sunday!!! We drove to Binalong Bay Cafe, and they were very accommodating & made us a scrumptious breakfast. By this stage it was after 11.30am, but hostess & chef were terrific. The smoked salmon & potato fritter salad with eggs benedict - best ever! Highly recommend, plus an amazing view.

“Excellent Meal and Service”
Reviewed February 2, 2014 via mobile

We had lunch here today and have to say the best Mains, Deserts and coffee. The salmon was perfect and the slow cook beef exceptional. With views overlooking The Bay Of Fires we would recommend this restaurant. Again we agree with a previous review, lets hope the chef stays as we will go back again and enjoy the service and the meals.
