Visited this remodeled place last Saturday. It was mid day on a rainy day and the place was full. Looks like the newness still has not worn off. We had not been there for a couple of years, wanted to she how the place had changed.
The decor is pleasant, simple wood trim and old style metal ceiling works well. New large windows make the place brighter and less bar like than before.
Having said that, it still is a bar with food. The menu has the usual variety, not much novelty. One whole page of pizza, I found that a little overkill. A couple in my party had Burgers, adequate but not outstanding. I had the french dip (not their name) and it was good, the bread was delicious.
I see a comment about the seating from another reviewer, I also found it odd that no one was in charge of seating, again, it is a bar. One server did help us find a table between her other duties.
Our service was good, with followup by Lea when food was delivered. French fries arrived cold, were quickly replaced. The first drink order arrived with the wrong beer, delivery was slow (bartender problem) and the virgin Bloody Mary was not good, real one was fine, not outstanding.
We will try it again but they do need to continue to work on all aspects of the experience to make it a destination.
