Easily reached by 10 minute bud ride from Vevey railway station this was a great way to spend a wet day. Lots to see and do watch old film footage, walk amongst old sets and become part of the sketches yourself, tour the family home and enjoy the grounds. Lots of personal and family memorabilia to peruse. We'd forgotten just how talented Charlie Chaplin was and we ended up staying longer than planned in order to due the attraction justice. Lunch in The Tramp Café Restaurant was a welcome break to have a rest - my smoked salmon bagel had plenty of filling and was worth the price. If staying at a hotel in nearby Montreux remember to get your free local travel pass as it will afford you 50% discount on the otherwise steep CHF 24 pp entrance fee but at CHF 12 each we considered it money well spent.
