This place is a true walk back in history from the 1850s to the 1890s. There are farms and house from different time periods in the 1800's and on some weekends there are people dressed up from the time period. Defiantly for history lovers!!!

We did the tour and got to go into buildings that arent just open. We had a blast and my kids learned a lot. They have toured many historical places so some of the things they knew. The dressmaker was in so they got to see how an old sewing machine works! If it is your first time definitely do the tour!!

We visited with two families that included 6 kids under the age of 7. They had so much fun! There was a lot to see and learn and a lot more hands on activities for the kids than we expected. Pack a picnic lunch and plan on spending 1/2 day visiting the homes and shops.

The people at the landing were very knowledgeable. The people at the landing were actually cooking reAl food on old fashion stoves. They all played their parts very were. I loved the Wild West show and gun fights.
