For some that may not know this already. Valleyfair is not only a great place to visit in the summer month in MN, but it is also a place to get into the Halloween spirit as it transforms into Valleyscare during the fall. They decorate the park in gohls and ghosts. There are haunts during the night and daytime fun for the kids. You can ride rides or go thorugh some haunted mazes, deemed not reccomended for children wahahahaha. There are fire eater shows and magic shows too. If you have not gone to this, I reccomend you try once. The only draw back is that they have only been doing this for a few years. Each year gets better however they are not staffed as full as they are during the summer.

Valleyfair has something to offer for young and old. Each summer we take a day and head over to Valleyfair. My son, who is 5, has so many options for rides, he loves it. The rides that he is not tall enough for yet, he is able to ride most of them with one of us, his parents. I would suggest having a cooler in the car for lunch though, it can get pretty pricey, as any amusement park can. Also, try to find discounts or money saving coupons at the local grocery stores.

Valleyfair is a smaller park than say Six Flags or Disneyland, but it has decent rides for all ages and a free/included waterpark for the Summer months. The admission price is a bit highish but still fair and there are usually discount offers in local businesses and such that can bring it down. They do a fair job of keeping things fresh and adding new rides/attractions every year or so. It's great for the whole family!

We went to Valleyfair this Summer on our annual trip. We had missed out the last two years to we were excited to go. It is a wonderful theme park. We go in the middle of the week and there are hardly any lines. Food is pricey so we pack a picnic lunch and take advantage of the picnic area they provide. The new wave pool in the water park was a blast! We were very annoyed with kids splashing and being rowdy on the lazy river as it was not at all relaxing but other than that it was wonderful. We will definitely go again! We love Wild Thing and Power Tower. The big swing is awesome too (can't remember the name of it). Definitely recommend going!

Valley Fair is one of my favourite attraction in minneapolis where I can enjoy all the dry and wet rides. And alos like the food and different games to play there.
