“Great find!”

My adult daughter and I stayed this past weekend at this lovely Boutique/B&B Hotel in the heart of St. Peter, MN. Beautifully renovated hotel with lovely rooms and gracious hosts. The rooms are larger than most hotel rooms and have a separate water closet with its own sink. The bathroom has a large rain/power shower combination with a sink, electric fireplace, TV and large soaking/message jet tub. Thick white cotton towels and robes are provided. Comfortable bed in this deluxe accommodation with another electric fireplace and TV in the bed area. A sitting area near the windows is a lovely place to relax and read or just enjoy a glass of wine. The rooms feel spacious and relaxing. The common room upstairs is central to all rooms and faces the front of the property. Wonderful light in the morning. There are three rooms off the back with access to a common balcony. These rooms cost a bit more. The only drawback we found with these was the fact that the decorative door to the balcony has a see through area that could be an issue if someone else on the balcony decided to walk on down and peek through as one can see into the tub area from outside through this clear glass space. There is one room on the front of the building as well that is a bit lower cost as there is no balcony. The website has photos that are quite accurate to what you receive when you arrive. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The owners/hosts were a delight and offer suggestions of things to see and do in the area. Overall a very pleasant and positive experience. Downstairs we enjoyed breakfast each morning at the Lone Star BBQ owned by our hosts. Very good food and you will not go hungry with the portions provided. Well stocked bar as well as a varied menu is provided for lunch and dinner as well. Would recommend to all and hope to be back ourselves as well.

Room Tip: Rooms in the front may be a bit quieter as there are deliveries to the restaurants and also garbage...

We were so happy with our stay at Konsbruck. Our room was, clean, comfortable, spacious, and luxurious! The owners and staff members were so friendly and welcoming. Their restaurant downstairs (Lonestar) was so delicious--try the carrot cake! The full breakfast each morning was the best--especially the blueberry pancakes! We will be back and will be sending our friends and family there, too.

My husband and I spent the past weekend at Konsbruck to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt special and taken care of. The owner, Mary, walked us to our room after welcoming "the anniversary couple!" and got us settled. Every time she saw us throughout the weekend she took the time to chat with us. The suite (Orion) was AMAZING and we chose to stay in Saturday night just to enjoy it. The breakfasts at Lone Star were also great, and we looked forward to going there each morning.

Everything was clean, quiet, and very romantic. We've already started recommending this place to family and friends and can't wait to take another trip there!

Room Tip: We loved the Orion; it had everything we needed and was very nicely decorated!

What a great place - this started as a business trip, but when I found this quaint B&B online I made it a quick getaway with the missus. Our room (North Star) was beautifully appointed - I'm a buff for really good hardware and fixtures - and the shower and bath are out of this world, what a comfortable place.

On top of that, the Lone Star BBQ downstairs is hands-down the best place to eat in town. We shared the combo BBQ plate - competitive barbeque at it's best! And then breakfast...

Tom and Mary are great hosts, made us feel very welcome - no idea when they find time to sleep, but they have a great thing going here, will look for an opportunity to return!

We had a family reunion near St. Peter and found the Konsbruck on the recommendation of a local family member. We travel frequently and Tom and Mary have a great B&B/restaurant combo going at the Konsbruck! We went through 4 of the rooms and they are all excellent with great upgrades. But the best part for us was the private common room which we shared with family for several nights. The restaurant is the main draw downstairs and it had good traffic both inside and on the patio and food was very good. In a bigger city they would be sold out constantly. Hope to return. Thanks Tom and Mary! vic and anne marie

Room Tip: pick any one! Back rooms have a long deck and are not on the main street.

What a pleasant surprise in St. Peter, MN. I would travel out of my way to stay there again. It was like traveling back in time to a wonderful hotel/B&B. Very romantic. Mary and Tom were very gracious. I stayed in only one room, so I can only respond to this one room, but I suspect the other rooms were very similar.

The entire building has been refurbished which includes all the rooms. After climbing the carpeted staircase, there was a sense of going back in time (a little) to when hotels had distinctive characteristics. The walls were painted with contrasting colors in good taste. A real live wooden door (not metal or particle board doors) greats you as you walk into the room which was twice as large as most hotel rooms. Wonderfully appointed room with furniture which had all been refurbished.
There were one full bathroom plus a 1/2 a bathroom which was a very nice touch. The main bathroom was almost as big as some of your regular hotels rooms. You can actually turn around in it without hitting anything/wall. The floor and shower were made with small inlaid tiles. There was a stand up shower with some flexible fixtures. There was also a large tub which has all the amenities of a hot tub. The hot tub was programmable from a fixture on an adjacent wall. Plenty of clean towels were provided. One minor drawback was there was not as much room as I would have liked to to place the shaving gear, toothbrushes, or cosmetics. But with the other 1/2 bathroom, it was not a problem
Carpet was very clean.
The bed was comfortable and you can request pillows which are not feathered.
There was a WiFi network which provided plenty of bandwidth to work on.
There was a restaurant downstairs which favors BBQ style cooking which I didn't try except for breakfast. Breakfast, any style, was delicious and was part of the price.

This is the place for stepping back in time (a little) for romance and just a wonderful time. You will be impressed.

Just came back from an amazing weekend at this lovely hotel. The rooms are charming, clean so well done. Everything and more has been attended to. Mary and Tom, the proprieters are super nice and friendly people. They also run the Lone star BBQ and Grill below the hotel and we ate there last night and they know BBQ and there is so much more to the menu. Can't say enough good things about our stay and their hospitality. If you need a weekend get away to a charming town, with a wonderful place to stay and eat then then St Peter MN with stay at the Konsbruck Hotel and a meal at the Lone Star BBQ and Grill is the way to go! Also there is a fabulous winery (Chankaska( 5 miles away.....

Room Tip: All the rooms we saw were great. Large, well appointed, clean, so comfortable. Top notch.
