“Nice meal and friendly staff - great before a concert!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

Stopped in before a concert for some supper. Got there at a good time as it got busy soon after. The staff were very friendly and took good care of us. The food was good and what you would expect for burgers, sandwiches and chicken strips. Good atmosphere and it was nice to see Tom Reid walking around, chatting it up. Great stuff to look at on the walls. Was actually quite nice and quiet in the back section. Overall not too bad!

“I will not be back!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2013

We went on an evening when there were no events at the Xcel. The pecan crusted walleye was salty and mushy and couldn't eat it (no pecans) and french fries soggy. Patty melt was dry and overdone with stale bread. Service was terrible and we had to ask for menus, silverware, etc.. The music was so loud we had to holler across the table at each other. Never again!

“Hockey hits hungry!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013 via mobile

The atmosphere for Hockey is unmatched at Tom Reid's, with memorabilia, pictures, and lots of NHL Network. We took in a college basketball game before heading off on the 5 minute walk to the Xcel. Great food, great atmosphere, great location . . . Just great!

“Nice Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013

We recently went here after a Timberwolves game. The place is clean and nicely decorated for a sports bar. We did have to go around the block to find street free street parking. We had the boneless wings and the cheese curds. We were a little surprised when the cheese curds came with fries, we would have preferred more cheese curds and no fries. We did enjoy the food though and their food and beverage prices were reasonable. It is a nice place to come after a sporting event for some appetizers. We will be returning here.

“Can get crowded inside”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2013

This is your typical younger crowd bar in my opinon. They had a dj playing as well as an area a little away from the normal bar that was a little quiter. When I was there they had a tent put up outside but im not sure if this is an all the time thing. It was a nice place to stop and have a drink.
