Read the professional food reviews if you must, but for my money there's no better Thai food in the Twin Cities than this little hole in the wall near downtown St. Paul. Don't let the ambiance, or lack thereof, fool you; every dish that comes out of the kitchen is platinum standard Thai. And I'd put their spring rolls up against any. My favorites: the Rad Na (order it with the crispy egg noodles and tofu), Trad Gratiam Prig Thai (for the garlic lovers among you), the green curry or the basil and jalapeno pepper dish. All fabulous. Oh, and the Tom Kha soup is to die for. Look for this place, just off West 7th Street. You'll be glad you did.

You can never tell about Ruam Mit Thai. Maybe if you know the name of the good cook and can ask if he/she is on that night, you'd want to go there. Because when the food is good, it's really, really good. Problem is sometimes the servers are sullen and the food is emotionally wilted, too.

Delicious food - love the Laab, peanut spinach dish - and overall, the lunch buffet is varied and generally quite balanced/flavorful.

My wife and I eat here once every month. I really like their brown oyster sauce (#33 & #34). Last night I tried their sweet & sour (#41), and it was wonderful. Not thick like most sweet & sour sauces. My wife is partial to the shrimp with snow peas (#42). The noodle dishes are also very good. I recommend asking for the sticky rice.

Try the Mien Cuam appetizer. Best thing on the menu. The curry was a little heavy. Nice touch on the Walleye.
