I had one of the best ribeye steaks i've ever had the last time we visited. The food is excellent but can be a bit pricy depending on your selections. We have eaten here 10-12 times and have never been disappointed. Great walleye dishes on several different occasions. Great lunch location too, probably because most people think of it as a higher end dinner location. Lunch selections are very good and the prices are much better than dinner (yes, that should be obvious but not true for every restaurant.)

A bad waiter can change the mood of the entire evening, unfortunately we had one who couldn't remember a thing,(even thou she was writing our requests),We were there to meet our friends for diner after 3 years. Thanks God for the chef, my friend and my husband ordered the walleye, itcame perfect, I had the trout and her husband had the pork chop, everything very taste, unfortunately our drinks were coming one by one (up to a point we start joking and cheering with water) we shared the crispy apple pie (is huge) and NO coffee... so water came hand again. Do I go back, yes, and if I get the same waiter I just ask to move to another section.

Excellent selection of items, elegant room, good wines by the glass. Like tables by the window and booths are great too.

My husband and I had heard about your restaurant for years from good friends. Therefore, when we attended a fund raiser for our grand children's private school we bid on a certificate from your establishment. The bid did go over the value of the certificate. We did plan to visit the restaurant with our friends who go there three to four times a year for special family events and can spend over $800 to $900 each visit.
We had lunch there on June 19th. The service was average but the food was very disappointing. I had the Chicken Rigatoni. The four cheese cream sauce was very thin with minimal flavor. There were few pieces of chicken and scattered pieces of Portobello mushroom. The pasta was chewy and pasty. My husband had the scampi. The five average size shrimp were not jumbo size as described on the menu. There was no noticeable mushroom or leeks. The sauce was thin with very little flavor. Our friend had the Tuna and that was cut in chunks instead of thin slices. The sauce looked anemic and did not have many ingredients as mentioned on your menu. We did not want to embarrass our friends and did not mention how disappointed we were. Obviously we have no intention of returning to the restaurant again.

Elegant ambiance, well done classics, extensive scotch list. Kir royale made perfectly. Pumpernickel brwad in the bread basket was excellent and clearly house made. Strawberry shortcake was delicious!
