“Lovely zoo and gardens ”
Reviewed July 6, 2014 via mobile

My family and I had a great time at the zoo. All of the kids loved seeing and learning about the animals. The gardens are very nice and my grandmother spent most of the time saying oh look at this one it is so beautiful. Oh look at THIS one is it so beautiful.
When in St. Paul area it is a must for families.

“Average Botanical garden”
Reviewed July 2, 2014

Worth a visit if in the area. Some nice exhibits. Free, although a $3 donation per person is suggested. There is a small zoo next to it which we did not visit no was orientated towards children.

“Treat yourself and your family”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

Thrill yourself over the cold below zero winter, to this treasure of the Minnesota Conservatory. The ample free parking and admission, tempts a generous gift of suggested amount to the volunteers that smile and greet all who enter this magnificent facility. I strongly suggest if you are bored and tired as a traveler; to drive to this natural setting for both plants and animals. The walking is invigorating, and filled with much diversity and educational opportunities, volunteers are very helpful too. Tropical warmth and humidity greets the winter worn visitor at the conservatory, and varied tasteful plants that do not exist on the planet of Minnesota turf, will shock native visitors to awe such glory and beauty as the large glass dome holds such greatness intact. Birds can be heard once again, and the smells, vision of a soon to emerge spring, sets courage to dodge back outside to duck into the varied warm buildings that safely surprise you with the animals well cared for and thriving in the cold we try only to forget for awhile.

“Nice Small Zoo”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

We took our 4 kids to this zoo. We went to Como over the Minnesota Zoo because it had the big animals the kids wanted to see like zebras, polar bears, big cats and gorillas. It is a small zoo with nice grounds. It can easily be seen in an afternoon. The animal enclosures could use some love and updating. But overall the kids were happy, which made us happy. Good experience for a small zoo.

“Enjoyed the zoo”

We enjoyed Como Park Zoo and the conservatory. Was very busy and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Next visit, we need to allow more time and bring a picnic lunch!
