This wonderful theater is even more special when the park across the street is filled with holiday lights. it has become a tradition to take in a production at the Ordway [ this year is ELF] and get steeped in the holiday spirit.

When St. Paul built the Ordway, they did it right. The location is great, although parking can be challenging. It is situated across the street from Rice Park and the St. Paul Hotel, the historic Central Library, and the Landmark Building. The area is all lit up and very beautiful. The theater is acoustically awesome and the shows are always tops. Makes for a romantic night out.

Great venue for musical productions. Minnesota production of Nabucco was fab-u-lous!. Seats are very comfortable and view from the balcony was excellent.

Saw "Singing in the Rain" here. Fantastic production. The tickets we got were reasonable. The feel of the theater is 1980's nice. Not tons of character in the theater, but it is clean, has a great seating layout, and it is easy to find

The architecture, interior design of the lobby and the auditorium is a reminder of the old European Opera Houses; warm, comfortable and good acoustics. The Viennese crystal chandeliers are worth some extra time to look at them.
