This museum has something for everyone. As a licensed Social Studies Teacher, I loved the top floor with all its’ Minnesota History linked with science. The tug boat, mummy, and dinosaurs were interesting as well. The musical stairs and news studio were very interactive for people of all ages. There are a lot of exhibits more for children, but it can still be a fun experience for adults. There was no big attraction at the time we visited as Pirates was over and they were still putting together the Egyptian one. The big back yard looked fun, but after a whole day of St. Paul, we were too tired to adventure out there. We did stop for a photo op with Iggy the Iguana. Over all it was a great experience for us, and I would recommend it to anyone with a few hours and dollars on their hand. (If you don’t have the dollars, look at their website as they offer $1 admission to the museum for people that receive food support, medical insurance, and other public assistance. I think there is also a discounted IMAX rate as well!)

This is one of the best science museums in the country and I have visited a lot of them. I love the interactive exhibits.

The Pirates exhibit was very informative for mostly adults. we took our grandson and he was too impatient to stick around and read all of the notes for each part of the exhibit.

Watch out for the parking fees when you park in their parking ramp. There was an event at the nearby Excel Center and therefore, the parking fees were expensive!!

More exhibits than any child or adult can see in one day, but worth several trips. We went for the dinosaur bones and discovered one of the largest collections anywhere, all attractively and informatively displayed.
