My Wife and I had to make a quick trip to St. Paul for a wedding and decided to try and save some money by staying at this place over the nicer spots litteraly within 3 miles of this location. I can only say I am glad that our stay was for less than 36 hours so that we could evacuate that ses pool post haste.
The rooms were in terrible condition; shabby fixtures, sheets that didn't fit, doors that didn't shut, the pillows were like rocks; the whole nine yards. On our first night back to the hotel after finding a place to eat we were greated by a vagrant passed out on the front stoop. The hallways reeked of what we could only assume was urine and the service was terrible; i was forced to wait outside inthe cold for nearly 10 minutes before someone came to check us in. I experienced the same when we tried to check out.
To be sure, this place was less than half the cost, but unless you like feeling like you could be robbed at gunpoint I highly suggest you splurge for the hotels across the highway.
