Ask for Tim, listen to his recommendations and you'll have an enjoyable meal. Ask for a round table and you are all set.
PS. The whiskey sours are amazing and the dessert was very good too.

Went for Father's Day and my mom was a little suspicious b/c of the name and neighborhood. She was soon won over by the amazing appetizer - blueberry and thyme pancake topped with a duck egg and pea shoots - amazing! It was an app special. My duck breast was great as was the salmon special that evening.

Dessert was blueberry and cherry clafoutis with ginger ice cream - we didn't need it but couldn't pass it up and it was delicious. The service was friendly and informative.

Fine dining food without the pretense or high prices. Don't be put off by the drive across the river because it is worth it.

We ate dinner at the Strip club last Saturday night. We ordered lots of the small plates. Our favorites were the pork belly and the deep fried marinated vegetables. Our son wanted bread and butter. We felt that this was a ridiculous request, given the amazing choices on the menu....UNTIL WE TRIED THE BUTTER. It was handcrafted butter with the tears of angels (OK, it was smoked sea salt, but that doesn't seem descriptive enough). The attention to detail (including the crack butter) was consistent through the meal. Our waiter, Tim, made an extra effort to make sure we were happy with our meal and that our experience at The Strip Club was special. We ended our meal by sharing a lemon pound cake with blueberries and ginger ice cream. We will soon be crossing the river again from Minneapolis to relive our great evening.

We recently visited the Strip Club for our first time. There were four of us. We each had two drinks, and shared four small plates. Two of us had the 10 ounce NY strip ($39/each), one had the 8 ounce filet ($42) and the fourth had the pork chop. We were celebrating a birthday. We shared two desserts. All three who had the steaks said they were mediocre at best, and the pork chop was reportedly pretty good. The server, Tim, was very good. Service is definitely the best part of the experience. He brought the table each a small glass of lemoncello (we did not order it) in celebration of the birthday. When the $320 bill arrived, we had been charged for the lemoncello. Was it a good deal for the $80/person bill? No - we won't go back. We do a lot of fine dining, and this one was a big disappointment for all four of us.

Visited this restaurant after hearing so many good things about it - all confirmed! It is a rather open and busy atmosphere, but staff is wonderful and food even better. Diners at our table had pork chop with kale/grits (unbelievable), halibut (yum), and tri tip with blue cheese sauce (out of this world). One of the owners was our server - very personable and professional at the same time. If you are looking for a unique dining experience with some of the best food in the Twin Cities, give it a try!
