Food is great. Service is very attentive. Selections for specials very good. My only ding is that they play the music way too loudly in the bar. There's already enough noise. However, easy to escape in the dining room.

I had "heard" about McCoy's and we gave it a try for lunch. The facility is well cared for and inviting. The menu is extensive. They have a great $10 mix and match lunch option. Walleye Fish and Chips hit the spot. Both of our selections were very good. Our server, Melissa, was exceptional--not only attentive but anticipated our needs. We will return!

First time there. Very enjoyable. Great happy hour selections and prices for both drinks and food. Chili tater tot skillet was tasted and filling. Appletini for $4. Cheese curds were tasty. Our server was fantastic. We never felt ignored. Couldn't believe the parking ramp was free!

McCoy's makes a short rib hamburger that is easily the best burger out of thousands I have ever eaten. Juicy, beefy flavored and no extra junk to hide the flavor of the meat....I'm just saying' if you like the rich flavor of short rib you should try this.

I met my wife and kids at McCoy's on Wednesday Oct. 2 just after their happy hour ended (~6:15pm). We sat in the bar area, as it was only moderately full, but not crowded. We were immediately seated at a booth. About 5-10 minutes after being seated a waitress stopped to take our drink order, which at the time seemed a tad long. We then waited 5 additional minutes to get the drinks (not long if the initial wait hadn't been so long). The waitress then ran off without asking if we were ready to order. She returned after another 5-10 minutes and asked if we wanted appetizers. We placed an order for two appetizers and two kids meals, to get their meal started ahead of ours (a big mistake). When the kids meals arrived 15 minute later we had been waiting for the waitress to return. Since the staff delivered the meals we could only ask that they send the waitress over to take our order.

Long story short, the waitress returned, we ordered, we waited. She came by again 15 minutes later to say she was going to check on our order, then returned to say our order had been lost and asked "what did you order again?" We repeated our order and it arrived in about 5-10 minutes (a full 55 minutes since we arrived). My wife's burger was very rare, despite ordering medium, but ate it because we couldn't afford to wait any longer.

We received a short sorry for the problem and an offer for a free dessert, but by the time we had eaten it was too late to wait even longer on a dessert. We requested the bill, and found she hadn't made any other effort to comp an appetizer or drinks.

A few other complaints were that we had to get our own waters from the bar, when she failed to deliver them (the eventually showed up 10-15 minutes later, we think after she noticed that we had already gotten them). I noted at least two other parties that were getting impatient with their service, with one trying to pay at the hostess stand.

The wait staff didn't appear to be in any hurry, moseying around the bar. Their appeared to be adequate staff for the number of tables. Some of the other waitresses appeared to have time to visit with the hostess.

I can best sum up the experience as very disappointing. The food we did receive was hot. The cheese curds were very good, the beer battered fries were average, the short rib burger was not noteworthy, the tai chicken wings were OK. The kids meals were typical kids meals (corn dogs and pizza). All-in-all an average meal with very poor service.

Luckily we helped the waitress comp one of our appetizers and beers (via tip conservation) and exited with just enough time to put the kids to bed. We won't be back!
