The Coyote Moon Grille is our favorite restaurant to visit when we visit our daughter in the area. It is a bit of a drive out to the golf course but totally worth it. The restaurant has a lodge feel to it, it warm and inviting and has an extensive menu. There is a wonderful bottomless soup and salad bar including crispy popovers with honey butter, crackers and pate. Our favorite entrees include the generous portion of freshly battered walleye with Irish potatoes (small new potatoes lightly fried with a cheesy dipping sauce - delicious!), the Norwegian salmon (splendid!) and the large shrimp and scallops (wow!). The wait staff are courteous and efficient. An inviting fireplace is the center spot and there is a large bar area for those interested. The secret is getting out: make a reservation, the place is normally packed on a weekend and you will see why. Totally recommend this place, you won't be disappointed! They do offer a Sunday brunch too! You can dress a little more formally or casually if you like - either works here!
