Great hotel, wonderful service, and perfect location. We stayed on the 11th (Executive) floor and the lounge there was very nice. Always had warm food/snacks and drinks and a great selection...nice touch with this lounge!
Pescara, which is the restaurant in the Double Tree, was also wonderful...excellent food and service.
The car that is provided for transportation to/from Mayo and St. Mary's is wonderful...Steve is very helpful, kind, and friendly! Thanks Steve!
The only negative I have (and I know this is picky), but bathrooms are very small. Don't get me wrong, they are nice, clean, but just a little too small.
Overall a great hotel and if we are back in town, we will definitely stay here.

Yes, our Executive Level is great! Our chefs/staff strive to make sure that our guests have an excellent experience in our Lounge with their value added items.
I am so glad that you got to experience Pescara. We are very proud of this restaurant. It was named #1 in Rochester by the March of Dimes Chef's Competition.

Stayed 3 nights. From arrival to departure everyone was welcoming, helpful and interested. Chose the valet parking for $15 as the temps were below zero and then a snow storm hit. Close to the Mayo and with the skyway and underground "subway", everything from the Mayo to shops and restaurants were accessable without going outside. Room was updated, modern, and clean. Only small problem was that the heating unit went on regularly during the night, but with below zero temps outside it was a necessity and the room stay cozy warm. Stayed on 9th Floor.

The staff in this hotel are the best! We arrived to the smiling face of Jody and were given 2 hot delicious cookies and 2 bottles of water. The rooms are lovely and you don't want to get out of the comfortable bed in the morning for you first appointment at the Mayo Clinic. Randy will pick you up at the Mayo in the DoubleTree car and take good care of you. The restaurant downstairs is delicious. The wi-fi is free and the business center is free. Everyone is so very helpful it is really an outstanding hotel. The manger deserves an award and this hotel should be a 5 star hotel.

The last time I stayed at the Marriott and it was a dump compared to this hotel.
